Louisiana Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons
The Louisiana Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, a non-profit organization, was formed in 1975. Our purpose is to contribute to the public welfare by advancement of the profession of dentistry and, in particular, the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
We strive to foster programs of education, research, standards of practice, and science in the specialty of oral and maxillofacial surgery. We provide our members an opportunity for social and professional development and assist the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in its endeavor within the geographic boundaries of our organization.
